Linkglide is Shimano’s durability-first drivetrain. The tooth profile resists wear rather than shaving milliseconds off a shift, which is why it costs more than a normal 10-speed cassette.
If your bike carries loads, does daily commuting mileage, or is an e-bike, the maths works in your favour. Fits a standard HG freehub. Needs a Linkglide chain.
