The story
Tony Wambua founded Bikes & Accessories Kenya in 2020 with one belief: cyclists need a reliable place where they can buy bikes, get genuine parts, have quality repairs done and receive honest guidance, all under one roof.
A biomedical engineering graduate, Tony spent close to ten years in the pharmaceutical industry before turning his passion for cycling into a business. He kept seeing the same problem. Cyclists were shuttling between different shops for parts, different mechanics for repairs, and different “experts” whose advice pulled in different directions.
Tony is a bike enthusiast at heart. He loves bikes, understands riders and enjoys solving the whole problem, not just selling the part. His approach is practical, hands-on and service-led. Whether he’s helping a beginner choose a first bike or an experienced cyclist maintain and upgrade theirs, the focus is quality, reliability and long-term support.
What we believe

- Quote first, work after. No surprises on the bill. Anything outside the agreed job, we ask first.
- Genuine parts only. Counterfeit drivetrains and brakes damage bikes and don’t last. We don’t carry them.
- Right size, right fit, right price. The bike that suits you, not the one we want to move.
- The shop is the workshop. Same building, same standards. Bikes we sell are bikes we’d ride.
- WhatsApp answers count. You’ll reach a real person, not a bot.
- Long-term, not transactional. Most of our customers come back. That’s the measure that matters.
